The most enjoyable mineral shows are those organized by local mineral clubs, where you can see a wide range of specimens, view educational displays, participate in demonstrations, and meet club members who are happy to share their knowledge of mineralogy and the earth sciences.
The events listed here are club-sponsored shows in the Mid-Atlantic region (Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, and Delaware). If I had enough time and an electric car, I'd visit every one of them.
